Wow !! Finally... Sorry everyone it has been far to long since my previews blog post (guilty as charged) but I am back again and ready to interest you all on my day to day life :)

Firstly, I would like to say a big happy birthday (few days late :S) to the most important women in my life. My mum. Last weekend she celebrated her 5... I mean 40th birthday ;) to celebrate the special occasion we decided to go out for a meal at an Indian restaurant, if you know me you know I LOVE Indian cuisine !!! We had a great time catching up with some close friends and I was sad to leave as we were having such a fantastic evening, I  took away some truly hilarious memories from that evening !!!

Unfortunately, the next few weeks are not going to be as enjoyable as the previous few :( !!!

EXAMS !!!

GCSEs !!!

HELP !!!

Revision is a nightmare D: I am no longer standing around singing one direction instead am rocking out to the circulatory song and the photosynthesis song (actually quit catchy) to much pressure nowadays if you ask me :/

Most people are extremely excited to be leaving school yet I feel nervous about the huge change which is about to happen.

Only 16 days to go !!!

Curly/ wavy hair (special occasion)

Hey everyone, so today I am going to show you how to style your hair using straighteners. When curling your hair you do not always require a curling wond, it is very easy using a simple pair of hair straighteners and I have always found they create lovely bouncy curls every time!

The style I am going to show you may take some time but it will be worth it. You could wear it to a special occasion, such as a wedding or your prom, and I assure you it will look lovely on anybody.

Firstly, you have to get yourself a pair of hair straighteners. My hair straighteners are by Nicky Clarke. I love them because I find them easy to use. Also, you can change the temperature of the straighteners, therefore you don't need to worry about split ends, which is great!

Once you have turned your hair straighteners on, leave them to heat for a couple of minutes. During this time I advice you to apply a heat protecter. I am using the L'oreal Paris, studio silk and gloss hot straight spray, it prevents my hair from frizzing and is great for fine hair. Therefore, I highly recommend it to anybody in search of a good heat protecter.

Next, using a grip, pin half of your hair up on one side. Brush this side of your hair before you use the straighteners.

Now, take a section of hair (about an inch thick) and place the hair within the straighteners. Now, begin to wrap the hair around the straighteners. Wait 10-15 seconds, then slowly pull down on the straighteners untill all the hair has been released. Repeat this process all around the head, until you have a head of curly hair.

Now, to complete the hairstyle, take a section of hair from the top of your head. Back comb underneath the section of hair and then pin the section of hair over the back combed area. This makes your hair have much more volume.

You now have beautiful curly hair, which will look amazing for any occasion. I hope this has helped in any way.

Is it summer?

Wow! I definitely was not expecting to wake up to a summers day in winter, what is going on!

So I decided to take full advantage of the situation and enjoyed a fun day with my friends and family. We thought a nice walk would do us good so we strolled along trying to take in every last ounce of the vitamin D, because in England the weather is normally terrible! It was fun and when we got back we enjoyed some ice-cream which was nice.

Later, once I got home I realized that in Britian if the sun is out everybody acts like its summer. The barbecue was on, the deck chairs were out and the bumblebees were hovering around!

It was a brilliant day but I didn't feel prepared for it all therefore my wardrobe chooses were limited as the majority of my summer clothes are hiding in a draw somewhere. So I decided to get them out in the hope of another sunny day!

Hey all, this week I decided to take a trip in search of a new lipstick. As, I don't have many bright lipsticks I wanted to get one which would really stand out and look good if I was going to a special occasion. Therefore I purchased the 'Rimmel London' Kate moss lipstick 01 in the shade rouge. I love this new lipstick as it stays on for 8 hours and gives you Kate moss' staple red lips! I highly recommend it !

French braid tutorial x

French braid
I love french braids. I think they are quick and easy to do and are a great way to keep your bangs out of your face, especially if you are at school. As well as being great for school, I feel the french braid is a great hairstyle for any occasion, such as a wedding or going for a meal out. I usually wear my hair down to the side with a french braid, but it could also be added to a ponytail or a bun, what ever you prefer.

Firstly, I wash my hair with L'oreal elvive smooth intense anti-frizz shampoo and conditioner. I use this specific shampoo and conditioner because it prevents my hair from fizzing once I have blowdryed and straighten it, which is great because my hair is naturally frizzy, so it helps tame the mane.

Then, once I have put my hair to one side, I take a small section of the hair, at the front of my head and split it into 3 equal sections. These will be the strands I use to make my braid.

Begin braiding your hair. Each time you are about to cross a strand off hair over the next, pick up a small chunk of hair and cross the chunk over the other strands. Therefore, you are adding more hair to the braid and securing it to your head. Continue doing this untill you pass your ear.
Now, plait the rest of the hair, not adding any strands, untill you reach the ends. Next wrap the plaited hair around your head and secure it with a bobby pin or two.
Now you finally have a french braid. I hope this hair tutorial has helped you.

Valentines Day

Later this week,on the 14th Feburary the inevitable Valentines Day will approch us, this is meant to be a loving day to showyour gratitude for someone else who you love. Well, like some other people in this world I will be keeping this day all to myself. Instead of finding my 'true love' I will enjoy my time indulging on a box of Cadburys  Chocolate and watching the classic feel good film, 'Bridget Jones' I am soo prepared this year I have gone out and bought the box set! So if you haven't found your Mark Darcy yet, who cares there is always a romantic comedy to fall back on.

Weekly favourites

Hey all, today I will be discussing my weekly favourite beauty production and fashion item. Hope you enjoy!

Beauty products
This week I invested in a different skin care product, which I haven't used before. I have used various products from the company but I fancied a change. Therefore, I bought the 'Clearsil ultra rapid action pads' it promotes that within 4 hours you will see a visible reduction in the size off your spots which is great for the common teenager or if you have an event coming up and you want flawless skin. I have to say the product works tremendously well because my skin has started to clear up in the few days I have been using it. I use this product twice a day. Once in the morning and once a night. I recommended everyone does the same to get the best results possible!

Fashion
The other week I was in the local shopping centre when I came across a 'Topshop' like anyone sain I took a look around the fabulous store in search for a new item off clothing to add to my growing collection. Luckily, I came across a khaki hooded, lightweight, jacket, which has a a tartan pattern on the inside of the hood, which is really in this season.I liked the colour of the jacket as it can be worn with most colours especially an auburn. Therefore it can be thrown on with most of my outfits which is great!
